Delaney Rose…. Just WOW
I didn’t know what to expect when I first saw Delaney Rose on Facebook. Her profile looked much like the other talented, yet relatively little-known, musicians in the social networking world. I sent a “hey” and she responded… we chatted a bit and through our connection was able to listen to her music.
From the first beautiful whispered word, she had me. Needless to say I wanted all of our members to hear her too, so I wasn’t going to rest until she agreed to be on our site. Thankfully, she said she’d join early in the following week. Not surprisingly, she kept her word and uploaded three songs. In short, while I don’t know Delaney Rose personally and have only chatted a few times… I find her music to be a mirror of what little I know about her, touching, hauntingly beautiful, and honest. I thank the powers that be, that she responded to the “hey”.
