Born and raised in Manitoba,
Delaney Rose has been singing and playing guitar since the age of six.
While exploring her parent's nearly unchartered attic, Delaney
stumbled across an old, dusty guitar with only four strings and thus
began "the dance" and her life long love affair with music.
One October evening,
while performing live she experienced an epiphany, reaffirming the fact
that she belonged nowhere else in this world but on stage singing her
music. The very next night, a near fatal car accident found her
clinging to her every breath. This near death experience was a blessing
in disguise. Deep inside her healing body a new style of music was
being created, a form unique in sound, spirit and style that can only
be called, “Delaney Rose”.

| This tragic
blessing transformed Delaney in many ways. Like a phoenix rising from
within the ashes, Delaney Rose communed with her creator, giving her a
sense of inner peace and strength which she graciously lends to her
listeners each time she sings her tender songs and plays her beautiful
guitar.
Her lyrics are hopeful, positive, emphasising that no
one is ever alone. Melodies are haunting, evoking a familiarity, a
connection, imploring her listeners to search within and touch their
soul.
Delaney Rose's metamorphasis through her struggles and
her triumphs, brought to fruition the creation of her debut cd titled
"Freedom" currently on release. Each song on "Freedom" is hypnotic,
breezy, and intensely personal. The flow of each song to the next is
strangely harmonious.
Delaney Rose is a true artist, following her highest
path to bring messages of hope and love.
